The butler is the main point of contact between the guests and the staff. He is also on hand to organize excursions, special activities, and entertainment, as well as act as a guide and interpreter.
The chef is available for every meal, according to the guests’ wishes. The chef can deliver simple meals or elaborate banquets, in both Indonesian and Western cuisine, and is well trained in accommodating special requests such as vegan or vegetarian meals, or gluten and dairy free.
Housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance and night-time security all make sure The Cove is run smoothly and that guests enjoy a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
Cars and drivers, babysitter, tennis pro, masseuses, beauticians, yogi, surf guides, photographers and musicians are available upon request.
The Chef at The Cove will prepare fresh and gourmet food every day, sourcing all ingredients locally. Indonesian specialties, fresh fish and seafood, Western and European dishes, meats and vegetables are all part of the established menu. Lobster, often caught right in front of the property, king prawns, Balinese suckling pig and other distinctive dishes can be prepared for special occasions or just for extra indulgence. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free meals can easily be arranged.
Wines, beer and select spirits are available at The Cove, as well as soft drinks and juices, freshly squeezed from seasonal tropical fruit.
The stunning sunsets and beachfront deck, plus the unique natural grotto on the beach provide an unforgettable setting for weddings and special events. Intimate ceremonies can be staged on the beach, on the deck, or on the lawn in front of the main house. For larger gatherings, the grass tennis court area offers an expansive surface adaptable to different styles and ideas.
Catering can be arranged in-house, or can be outsourced to a favorite wedding planner, caterer or hotel.
